Limited time, so just a couple of quick items hitting the news today on the pet food contamination front.
- ChemNutra, the company which imported tainted wheat gluten used in recalled pet food, is now calling for a national Pet Food ingredients Safety Summit for July 14, 2007, in Las Vegas.
- Costco voluntarily recalled their Kirkland Signature Lamb and Rice canned dog food on April 27th, due to the possibility of melamine-tainted rice protein in the mixture, but the recall is hitting the news again, so click here for more information from Costco, and here for a news article about it.
